   Our Process

We will arrange an initial meeting with you at a mutually convenient time. The aim of this meeting is for you to get to know us and find out how we conduct ourselves. You will be able to make a judgement on whether you think we’re right for you, by gaining an idea of our knowledge and ethics. We will also get an understanding of your current situation, aspirations and plans. We will give you an idea of how we can help. At this stage we will also outline our charges, based on our assessment of how much work we would need to do. You can decide whether you prefer to pay us by commission or fees or a mixture of both.

The next stage is for us to gain a full and clear understanding of your current financial situation. We will record details of your existing investments and policies, as well as discussing and recording your financial goals and plans. We will also take account of your attitude to risk. We believe that your financial plan is more about strategies than particular products. Once we have ascertained what you want to achieve, then we can develop a strategy to achieve those goals. After that it is very easy to arrange products that will meet these goals.

Having carried out a fact find on your financial situation, we will compile a Financial Report which will summarise our discussions, detail your plans and aspirations and then recommend ways of meeting those aims. This report, whilst comprehensive, is written in plain language with the aim of giving you clear guidance as to the different ways forward.

We will then send you a copy of the Report, and arrange a time to meet to discuss the content of that report. Between us we will then devise a plan of action. We will then take your instructions on how you wish to proceed.

With each particular product that may be recommended, you will then receive a Suitability Letter that sets out your specific needs, the solution and the reasons behind the recommendations.

We will then agree how you would like further reviews to be structured. This may be annually or you may prefer something more regular. The minimum review period we would suggest is annually, where we will revisit most of the above process, and review how close to achieving your goals, we are.
